As a young mother, Terah Williams faced a recurrence of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, after being in remission for over a decade. Undoubtedly, she not only wondered “Why is this happening?”, but also “Why is this happening again?”
She discovered her Special Assignment while recovering from a stem cell transplant. Terah encourages cancer patients with her inspiring story of survival after being healed twice through the power of faith. She found comfort in a verse found in Isaiah 53:5: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (KJV).
Her Special Assignment included creating a foundation, By Hiz Stripes, with the goal of helping others who are also undergoing cancer treatments. Terah has organized fundraisers to help with financial costs, as well as delivering encouragement through speaking engagements.
Terah believes that her faith and love for Christ are the keys to overcoming challenges. She is convinced that Christ continues to heal today.
