Have you ever reached a point in your life where you felt broken? If so, you aren’t alone. There are many people feeling broken and looking for a way to put their life together. To me, brokenness can happen for lots of reasons. There can be emotional trauma or hurts from childhood that never seem to go away and result in feeling depressed, anxious, and unworthy. Sometimes, life can be so stressful that it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. There are so many things that can cause stress. For some, feeling overwhelmed seems endless. Or, a plaguing medical issue that zaps one's energy and takes an emotional and physical toll on their bodies and mood. It can seem so hopeless.
Lack of Purpose
When feeling broken, it can be hard to find a sense of purpose and meaning to life. One can feel lost without a sense of direction. But there’s good news. God has a for your plan for your life. This may be hard to believe, but what if it’s really true. It means your life has purpose and meaning.
How do I find my purpose and heal my brokenness?
The first step in finding your purpose is to believe God is real. Sometimes doubt in Gods existence is the major roadblock to finding your purpose.
The second step is to try to trust God and give God a chance to work in your life.
God will open doors, put the right people in your life, or you will feel His presence and sense what new steps you need to take in your life. The key is to trust God and be patient. God's timing is said to be perfect. The process of finding your purpose can take time and we can get frustrated because we want things to happen quickly. However, going one step at a time with God as your guide can help you become a better person.
