Dr. Ron’s Perspective on the COVID 19 Pandemic
When you first heard of the COVID 19 virus, did it seem like a real danger and threat to your life? Weeks later, the virus has ravaged the world and suddenly changed life as we knew it. This nightmare seems hard to believe, yet here we are. It’s the new reality. Life now seems out of control and the future seems unclear.
How am I feeling right now?
There’s a lot to worry about; health, jobs, and money, loved ones just to name a few. For many, panic, anxiety, and depression are common reactions around the world. It’s normal to have a variety of feelings right now. You are not alone as these feelings are shared by millions.
What can we do now?
If your faith has been shaken by world events, remind yourself God Is real and He has not abandoned us during this time.
Trust God. In the midst of all the chaos, God is still involved. We may not understand exactly how He is working in this crisis, but reassure yourself He is.
Think of a way to try to help. Can you make masks for others? Can you help someone who is alone and isolated? This is a time for humanity to band together and help one another. When we help others, we help ourselves.
If your faith has been shaken by world events, or you are wondering if there is a God and why is this happening to our world, there is hope and resources that can help you cope with this pandemic crisis at Whyisthishappening.org.
